Living In Utah
As a life-long resident of Utah, I have had the pleasure of enjoying the beauty and wonderful culture that we have in this great state. From the snowy mountain-top ski resorts of the north, to the stunning red rock formations of the south, Utah has something for everyone. I absolutely love our great outdoors, and would love to give you some tips on great hiking and biking trails along the Wasatch Front.
Utah also has a reputation for being a great place for the arts. The Utah Symphony, Ballet West, and the world famous Sundace Film Festival all call Utah home. It's easy to see why Robert Redford and Post Malone spend most of their time here.
The Future of Real Estate in Utah
Utah is one of the fastest growing states in the U.S. With a strong economy and multiple big-tech companies relocating here, home owners have seen a drastic increase in their value over the last few years (~27% in 2021).
As we head towards a recession as a nation and with increasing interest rates, many of my clients worry about the future of the housing market. The good news is that Utah is prepared to face those challenges, and home values are expected to increase year over year (but at a more sustainable rate.)
As a lifelong learner, I am constantly taking educational classes and watching the market to stay on top of our local market. Whatever changes are ahead, you can count on me to always be ready.
Why I Do What I Do
I LOVE Real Estate. It is the perfect union of two things I am passionate about. It combines my affinity for architecture and design with my love of people. It's cliché to say, but I have a passion for helping people.
For years I worked in the healthcare field assisting patients recover from different heart procedures and surgeries. Now I put my sensitivity and compassion to work helping people buy and sell homes. Many people see sensitivity as a weakness, but I find it helps me anticipate my clients needs, often before they even recognize them. It also helps me with negotiations. I am always finding creative ways to get my clients what they need without making the opposite party feel as though they have "lost." I love using my creative problem solving skills to find win-win solutions.
